Description

Massimago extra virgin olive oil is obtained from 1200 olive trees distributed within the estate in various plots (the olivara vecia, the terase, the bianchette and the olivara nova) characterized by different exposures and soil components. At the extreme borders of olive cultivation (beyond the 45th parallel), we cultivate varieties such as Frantoio and other indigenous varieties such as Leccino, Nostrano and mainly the Grignano cultivar. The latter is one of the few indigenous varieties of Verona, which, with its high component of polyphenols, citrus aromas and its persistence, represents the unique expression of a territory.
